Recap - Senators Defeat Toronto 6-3

Dominik Kubalik was the difference, potting a pair for Ottawa on Wednesday as the Senators skated off with a 6-3 victory over the Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena.

Dominik Kubalik(2), Claude Giroux(2), Tim Stuetzle, and Jakob Chychrun each scored for the Senators in the victory. Kubalik opened the scoring for Ottawa.

Joonas Korpisalo turned in a 27-save effort for the Senators.

Toronto got goals from Tyler Bertuzzi, Nicholas Robertson, and William Nylander in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Joseph Woll stopped 21 of 27 shots for the Maple Leafs, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Ottawa went 1-for-3, while the Maple Leafs were 1-for-2 with the man advantage.

Ottawa lost the shots on goal battle to Toronto by a margin of 30-27.

Ottawa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Canucks. The Maple Leafs will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Calgary.
